يتناول كتاب (مراجعات الإسلاميين) مجموع الفرضيات التي ترصد المحددات والسياقات العامة التي فرضت على عدد من القيادات والجماعات الإسلامية، ويتصدى الكتاب للخلاصات المتسرعة، التي تظن أن الحركات والجماعات الإسلامية تريد مفارقة خيارات العنف، فعلا أو مراجعة التوظيف السياسي للإسلام، كما رصد مسلسل المراجعات التى قام بها \"إسلاميون\" بعد أحداث الحادي عشر من سبتمبر 2001، من أطراف السلفيين الجهاديين، وأظهر \"ارتباط مسلك المراجعات بسياقات معينة وظروف داخلية وخارجية، جعل من هذا المسلك، مجرد ردة فعل \"ظرفية انفعالية\"، غايتها احتواء الأزمة وتقديم حلول تبدو متسرعة وهذا الأمر، لا يساعد على مؤسسة وتثبيت خيار المراجعات، كمدخل أساسى واستراتيجي لمحاربة الأفكار والتصورات الدينية الخاطئة.
