تدور أحداث هذه القصة حول السيد \"مسعود\" الذي يعيش في بيت في مدينة كل بيوتها متاشبها وفي يوم من الأيام جاء طائر نورس كان يحمل وعاء مليء بالدهن البرتقالي، فاستغل الرجل مسعود ذلك الحدث وغير شكل بيتة تماما وأصبح بيته مختلف الشكل بالنسبة لبيوت المزرعة واليوم الثاني جاء الجيران وقالوا عنه أنه رجل متخلف وغبي وأحمق لأنة شوه شكل بيوت الشارع وكان أعز جيرانه و عبد السلام، زار مسعود وقال له لما غيرت شكل بيتك ؟ وفي اليوم الثاني قام السيد عبد السلام هو أيضا بتغير شكل بيته على شكل مركبة وبعدها كل الجيران غيروا شكل البيوت واليوم التالي واجه أصحاب الشارع انتقادا من جيرانهم في الشارع الآخر ووتوالى أحداث القصة
