وهل يخفى القمر ؟ دراسة يتناول فيها رئيف خوري حياة عمر بن أبي ربيعة وشعره. ينقسم الكتاب إلى ثلاثة أقسام بعد المقدمة في المقدمة يشرح أسباب اختياره الكتابة عن شاعر المتعة والغزل الإباحي الحضري البعيد عن هموم الشعب. ويتناول في القسم الأول سيرة الشاعر وأخباره، ويعتمد في ذلك السرد القصصي، مستندا إلى المصادر والأصول. ويقدم في القسم الثاني دراسة جادة عن شاعرية عمر ويبين خصائص شعره التي جعلته يرتبط بالقراء بعلاقة حميمة. وفي القسم الثالث يقدم مختارات من شعر عمر تدعم آراءه وأحكامه هذا الحب الكبير للتراث العربي رفدته دراسة متأنية واطلاع واسع، ووجهه فكر نير تقدمي ثوري لا يرى الأدب على أنه ترف شكلي بل يراه أدبا مسؤولا مرتبطا بالحياة والمجتمع والواقع.
