نتيجة لكثرة الإعتداءات الانتحارية في جميع أنحاء العالم والتي تتعذر بإسم الإسلام فيما يمس أثرها المسلمين قبل غيرهم، فإني وكمسلمة لست فقط مقتنعة بخدعة المعتدين ولكن أود أن أوصل رسالة للمخدوعين حقا سواء من المعتدين أنفسهم أو من يصدق خدعتهم من غير المسلمين. لذا يسرد الكتاب وجهة نظر الكاتب على الإعتداءات الإنتحارية بإسم الإسلام عن طريق رسالة موجهة للمنتحرين كصورة مجازية، في حين يهدف أن تصل الرسالة لكل أولئك الذين يتهمون الدين، أو حتى يساورهم الشك، كونه يحرض على العنف والكراهية.أرى أنه من حقنا الدفاع عن سماحة الدين ودحض الشبهات لدى الكثيرين ممن حولنا باتباع أسلوب الحكمة والموعظة الحسنة. كما أرى أنه من حقي كمسلمة تمسها هذه الإعتداءات أن يكون لي كردة فعل، شيئا أقوله. إن معظم مراجعي في الرسالة، غير التجارب التي شهدتها من ردود الفعل، هي من القرآن وبعض الأحاديث الصحيحة وذلك حتى تكون رسالتي أشد اقناعا من الإعتداءات ويكون جدالي بالتي هي أحسن!
