في هذا السياق يشرح المؤلف معنى المظلومية ويبحث عن معناها في القرآن الكريم وبخاصة في بداية الدعوة الإسلامية حين نزلت الآية الكريمة بقوله تعالى \"وأنذر عشيرتك الأقربين\" وبعد ذلك يأتي المؤلف على ما قيل في الإمام علي رضي الله عنه من حيث علمه وبلاغته وشجاعته وباقي خصائصه وأهم وصف لمناقبية الإمام هو وصف رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وسلم) \"أعطيت جوامع الكلم، وأعطي علي جوامع الحكم\"، ثم يعرض المؤلف الموقف السياسي الذي اتخذه الإمام علي رضي الله عنه من الخلافة من خلال ما ذكره َ الكتاب والمحققون في امهات كتبهم مثل \"ما ذكره ابن قيتبة الدينوري\" و\"الطبري\" و\"المدائني\" وغيرهم.
