تعتبر قبيلة عنزة البدوية من أكبر القبائل العربية في الشرق الأوسط، وتنتشر عشائرها و أفخاذها الرئيسة الحالية في صحراء بادية الشام، حيث كانت بادية الشام معبرا لقوافل الإبل، لكنها منذ عقد مضي تحولت أجواؤها إلي ممر للطائرات وطرق للسيارات المتجه شرقا وتمر عبرها خطوط أنابيب النفط وأراضي القبيلة التي تنتشر فيها مراعي أنعامها تتقاطع مع أربعة أقطار هي العراق وسوريا وشرق الأردن ونجد، حيث ترتبط القبيلة بهذه الدول ارتباطا وثيقا فيما يتعلق بغزواتها ومستلزماتها.
