يتناول الكتاب (مباراة السوبرشيف) والذي قام بتأليفه (جيرونيمو ستيلتون) في حوالي (111 صفحة) من القطع المتوسط موضوع (القصص الإيطالية للأطفال في القرن الـ 21) وهو مؤلف مخصص وفي (مباراة السوبر شيف) التي ستقام في مدينة الذواقة والتي سيتم فيها اختيار أفضل طاه في جزيرة الفئران ولكي تسير الأمور على ما يرام، لا بد له من ضحية -ذواق- للأطعمة، فيقع اختياره على ابن عمه الفأر (تراب) صاحب محل الخردة والذي لا يفقه من أصناف الطعام وطريقة تحضيرها شيئا ! ! جيرونيمو مباراة السوبر شيف قصة تشجع الأولاد للخوض في المباريات وتشرح نوعية الأطعمة والمواد التي تستخدم في الطهي، كما تقود الأولاد إلى معرفة أنواع الأطعمة الصحية المفيدة التي يتوجب عليهم تناولها وتزودهم بمعلومات مهمة عن الأرض والأدوات المستخدمة في الزراعة من مبيدات وغيرها والأهم من ذلك الإخلاص في العمل والنجاح فيه.
