يعد هذا الكتاب الجلمود من أخطر الكتب التي واجه خرافات الفكر المتطرف في مصر، ويعد هذا الكتاب من الأهمية بمكان في ظل الظروف الراهنة التي تحيط بالعالم الإسلامي وما يشوب المسلمين من خرافات مصطنعة على يد أناس دخلاء عليه، وعليه فقد جاء هذا الكتاب في جزأين، يحمل الأول منهما عنوان الكتاب ويتناول بمزيد من التفاصيل بعض مكونات الجلود الإسلامي، أو التراث الذي بدأ بنيانه منذ القرون الأولى بعد وفاة النبي -صلى الله عليه وسلم- إلى أن أصبح أمرا واقعا في حياة المسلمين، أما الجزء الثاني فيحمل عنوان (مصر التي) يتناول بعض القضايا الشائكة والمصيرية في حياة الأمة المصرية.
