في زمن السرعة والاختزال والتركيز، يتحتم على المفكر المسلم، إلى جانب أبحاثه المنهجية الشاملة، أن يطرح رواه، ومواقفه، وأحكامه، وتحليلاته، عبر صيـرورة الحيـاة المتدفقـة، مركزة، مختزلة، بمقـالات، أو ربما بكلمات قصار ولم لا ؟ إذا كان القارئ المعاصر بأمسِّ الحاجة إلى معطيات تتدفق بهذا الإتجاه، فلم لا نمنحـه بعض ما يريده ويقدر عليه، وسط زحمة الحياة، وصخبهـا، وركضهـا، وعنائها ؟ أغلب الظن أن عصر (المقالات) الطويلة، المتشابهة، البطيئة، المحملة بالإطناب والمحسّنات اللفظية، والمرهقة بعبء كلمات، وعبارات وجمل، لا قيمة لها إلّا أن تمنح المقال مزيدا من التزيّن والتبهرج.. أغلب الظن أن عصرا كهذا قد انتهى، وأننا إذا ندلف إلى عصر جديد يتحتم أن نعيد النظر في هذا الفن التعبيري فنجعله أكثر انسجامًا مع روح العصر ونفسه ومتطلباته.
