Overview
الكتاب أن يقدم عرض وافي للأفكار والعقائد التي تتعلق بالموت والبعث عن المصريين. وقد استسقى معلوماته من الأعمال المأتمية والدينية التي تركها المصريون القدماء. يقع الكتاب في خمسة فصول يبين المؤلف في الفصل الأول أن المصريين القدماء كانوا يؤمنون ب (إله واحد) موجود بذاته خالد غير مرئي وهو خالق كل شيء. وسيؤسس المصريون دينهم ولاهوتهم على هذه الفكرة وفي الفصل الثاني يذهب المؤلف إلى أن عبادة أوزيريس في مصر كأن سببها أن هذه الديانة تعد اتباعهما بالبعث الأبدية... إلخ.
