هذا الكتاب للدكتور خيرالله سعيد بعنوان \"دراسات في الموال العراقي\" وهو أول دراسة نقدية في هـذا الإطار من الناحية الأكاديمية أخضعها المؤلف إلى مسارات تاريخية ورؤية نقـدية تخضع إلى المعيار المعرفي الفني في عملية تحـديد مفاهيم الرؤية النقدية لدراسة فـن الموال العراقي ومن حيث النظم وشكل التعامل معه وبوصفه أدبا شعبيا انتقل من الفصيح إلى العـامي في سلسلة متطورة تاريخيا وخضعت إلى مفاهيم عصرها الأدبية ومن ثم أصبح هـذا الفـن واحدا من أبرز عـلامات الأدب الشعبي في العـراق ثم انتقل منه الى بقية الأقطار العربية.
