يتناول الكتاب حيث يأخذنا \" طوغان \" بجولة الى اماكن يسكنها السحر وتطوف بأرجائها الأسطورة، لنحلق معه فى اجواء ممتعه، قبل ان يعيدنا الى صلادة الواقع مرة اخرى، ورغم انه يضرب بفرشاته الهموم ليخرج منها بهجة كامنة، الا انه لا يخفى آلامه، تلك التى صنعت منه فنانا ذا مذاق خاص، فهذا الكتاب جدير بالقراءة والذي يجمع بين براعة الكاتب وابداع الفنان، ولقد ولد الفنان أحمد طوغان عام 1926م، وبدأت رسومه تنشر في الصحف المصرية والأجنبية منذ عام 1949م، وخلال رحلته مع الكاريكاتير، حصل على عدد من الجوائز المهمة، آخرها جائزة النيل للفنون لعام 2014م.
