مجموعة قصصية للكاتب غسان كنفاني تضمنت القصص التالية : أبعد من الحدود، الأفق وراء البوابة، السلاح المحرم، ورقة من الرملة، ورقة من الطيرة، ورقة من غزة، الأخضر والأحمر، أرض البرتقال الحزين، قتيل من الموصل، لا شيء، كعادة الكنفاني كان شغله الشاغل في تلك المجموعة هو الشخصية الفلسطينية سواء كان خارج أو داخل الارض المحتلة، تعد قصة أرض البرتقال الحزين العمود الفقري لهذه المجموعة حيث كانت ملتحمة بسيرة غسان كنفاني لكنها في نفس الوقت تؤرخ لمعاناة الفلسطيني المهجر بشكل عام استعمل فيها أساليب قصصية مستحدثة إذ استغل ضمير المخاطب عوض المتكلم للحديث عما شهده في طفولته وكانت شخصيته مجرد انعكاسا للأحداث وليس له اي فعل كما عبر عن موقفه من جيل أبيه المهزوم وقد حمل عبر رمز البرتقال كل ملامح الشخصية الفلسطينية.
