لأن مدينة عمان وبكل معالمها وآثارها تروي قصة الحضارة والأصالة فقد استمرت هذه المدينة تلتقي كل الحضارات، وتروي فصول المجد والكبرياء، ولأن آل نزال ومنذ بداية استقرارهم في عمان، أدركوا أهمية السياحة وآثارها في دعم الاقتصاد الوطني، وإبراز وجه الأردن الحضاري والثقافي، فقد ساهموا في إنشاء الكثير من الأنشطة السياحية، وكان أول نشاطهم إنشاء فندق فيلادلفيا في عمان، لهذا قرر السيد ميشيل نزال طباعة هذا الكتاب، ثم إهدائه إلى أبناء الأردن الفخورين بعاصمتهم المجيدة عمان التي ضمت أبناء الوطن الواحد، وصارت موئلا ومقصدا لكل العرب.
