يهدف هذا الكتاب إلى معرفة أساسيات الإحصاء الرياضي والتفاضل التكامل حيث يتكون من سبعة أبواب يقدم الباب الأول مفاهيم أساسية في الإحصاءات الترتيبية والباب الثاني يهتم بتوزيعات دوال الإحصاءات الترتيبية ويتطرق الباب الثالث إلى عزوم الإحصاءات الترتيبية كما يهتم الفصل الرابع بالتوزيع التقريبي للإحصاء الترتيبي ويقدم الباب الخامس تقديرات تعتمد على الإحصاءات الترتيبية أما الباب السادس فيتطرق إلى تقدير الفترة لمعالم بعض التوزيعات بالاعتماد على الإحصاءات الترتيبية وأخيرا يتناول الباب السابع الإحصاءات الترتيبية لمتغيرات عشوائية مستقلة وغير متطابقة التوزيع.
