\"معجم المترادفات العربية الأصغر\" هو إضافة جديدة إلى معاجم المترادفات العربية، يهدف إلى توفير مجموعة من المترادفات المدققة مما قد يحتاجه القارئ في حياته اليومية، والطالب في دراسته، والكاتب في كتاباته والمترجم في ترجماته والمتحدث في أحاديثه. جمعت المترادفات-وهي أكثر من 8800 مترادف-تحت مداخل رئيسية، وهي أكثر الألفاظ تداولا واستخداما، وهذه بدورها رتبت ألفبائيا واعتبرت الهمزة التي على الواو \"واوا\" والتي على نبرة \"ياء\" والمفردة \"ألفا\" والمدة \"ألفا\" وأعطي في نهاية المترادفات \"ضد\" مسبوقا بعلامة \"×\" وتقف مداخل الألفاظ الرئيسية منفردة لا يجاورها شيء أما المترادفات فيجاورها اللفظ الرئيسي الذي أدرجت تحته في جسم المعجم، ومن ثم فمن يرغب في معرفة مترادفات لفظ معين فيطلب هذا اللفظ في ترتيبه الألفبائي في الكشاف ثم يرجع إلى اللفظ المحال إلي في جسم المعجم.
