كتاب روائع السينما تأليف محمود الزواوي، الكتاب يعبر بجدية عن الثقافة الشعبية الأميركية المتجددة الدماء دوما ممثلة في السينما الأميركية. كما يسرد بين طياته المعاناة التي لاقاها بعض من لم يسيروا مع تيار المكارثية الإقصائي فسجنوا أو هاجروا أو منعوا من الظهور في بلد يعد قبلة الليبرالية في عالمنا، كما يسرد قصص الوشاة الذين ساروا مع الموجة كإليا كازان ! ويعيب الكتاب عدم عرض الكاتب لآرائه هو كعربي في الأفلام، وكأنه ناقد يعيش في نيويورك، فنراه يتعاطف مع قضايا أميركية صرفة أحيانا.
