قد وجهت الصديقة الزهراء رسالة إلى أجيال الأمة المسلمة عقيب وفاة أبيها الرسول الأعظم وتتمثل هذه الرسالة في الخطبتين الفاطميتين-الكبرى والصغرى-فاستعرضت المسائل الحساسة المتعلقة بحياة الأمة ومسيرتها، من الحياة السياسية والفكرية والتشريعية وغيرها ومما يدعو إلى الأسف بل يدعو إلى الألم، أن هذه الرسالة وصاحبتها لاتزال مجهولة لدى عموم المسلمين، فلا يعرف المسلمون شيئا عن هذه الرسالة وصاحبتها، فلا يعرفون عن الصديقة الزهراء سوى أنها بنت الرسول، أما عن خصائص هذه المرأة المقدسة وفكرها وتراثها فلا يعرفون شيئا.
