تناول الكتاب شخصية (عزيزة هارون) التي انفردت بها عن بنات جيلها .. فقد بنت نفسها بنفسها وصقلت موهبتها بما كانت تقع عليه عيناها ويدها من أمهات كتب الأعلام من الشعراء والأدباء وقد أعانها في ذلك الشيخ سعيد مطرجي الذي تأثرت فيه كثيرا في البعد الصوفي، تقول عنه : حين كنت أسمعه بعض أشعاري كان لا يصدق هذا ويتهمني بالانتحال.
