هذا الكتاب يتسأل كيف يمكن تأسيس نظام صحفى وإعلامى حر مستقل وطنى مسؤول يترجم اهداف ثورة 25 يناير ويحيل شعاراتها الى واقع معاش كيف يمكن إعادة النظر فى ملكية الصحف المسماة بالقومية والإعلام المسمى بالقومى ليخضعا فعلا لا اسما ولا حقا لا شكلا لمصدر السلطة وصاحب السيادة والشرعية .... المواطن المصرى دافع الضرائب وصاحب الحق الأصيل والمباشر فى تقرير مصير الصحافة والإعلام فى مصر على اى نحو يمكن تشكيل المجلس الوطنى للصحافة والاعلام ليكون تابعا للشعب لا للنظم والحكومات مستقلا فى ميزانيته وسيدا لقراره يعمل لأن تكون الكلمة الحرة والنزيهه والموضوعية والمسؤولة هى السائدة بين الصحفيين والإعلاميين فى مصر، وليكون الصحفى والاعلامى قادرا على الوصول الى المعلومة ايا كان مصدرها، جريئا فى نشرها، أمينا فى عرضها لا يراعى إلا الله وضميره وقيم المجتمع ومصالحه وأخلاقياته ومواثيق الشرف التى يقسم على احترامها.
