يتحدث هذا الكتاب عن \"إسحاق نيوتن\" ففي نفس العام الذي توفي فيه جاليوولد (إسحاق نيوتن) مولود ضعيف، هزيل لا يتوقع له أكثر من أن يعيش أياما استطاع هذا الطفل الضعيف وقدر له أن يعيش أعواما، ليغير نظرة العالم إلى الكون وإلى العلم، ويقدم للبشرية إسهامات ثمينة ساهمت في رقيها وتطويرها، في سنواته الأولى لم يكن محل تقدبر واهتمام من أساتذته، بل إنه كان يحتل المرتبة قبل الأخيرة في مدرسته، ويصنف على أنه طالب كسول، شارد الذهن، غير منتبه إلى معلميه !! ولكن كل ذلك تغير، وقفز إسحاق إلى مقدمة الطلاب طول سنوات الدراسة، ثم قفز إلى مقدمة العلماء على مدى الأزمان، حين توصل إلى قانون الجاذبية، وقوانين الحركة، وحساب التفاصيل والتكامل، وغيرها من الإسهامات الجليلة، حتى استحق (نيوتن) أن يكون أول من يدفن في مقابر العظماء بلندن عام (1727) ميلادي.
