يتحدث هذا الكتاب عن الصحافة السودانية حيث إن الصحافة السودانية لا تستطيع أن تؤدي واجبها في خدمة الأمة وهي مكبلة بالقيود في مجتمع تنعدم فيه الحريات العامة وهي بذلك تأبى لنفسها هذا الوضع وتصر على تأدية رسالتها كاملة واعتمادا على المعاني الواردة في تلك الفقرة من البيان فإنه من الممكن القول بأن الصحافة السودانية ممثلة في عناصرها القائدة يومها قالت أنها لن تستمر بمثل هذا الكبت لصوتها كما أنها قالت أنها لن تتوانى عن أداء مهمتها ورسالتها.
