تألفت الدراسة من مقدمة وأربعة فصول وخاتمة. استنفد الفصل الأول الكثير من الجهد والوقت؛ لأنه عني بالحديث عن المتغيرات المتشابكة والمتنوعة التي مر بها كلا البلدين الجارين تركيا والاتحاد السوفيتي في خضم أحداث الحرب العالمية الأولى التي كانت قائمة آنذاك، فاندلاع ثورة أكتوبر 1917 في روسيا القيصرية والآثار الفكرية والسياسية والاقتصادية التي جاءت بها، وحاجة شعوب روسيا الملحة إلى السلام. وعني الفصل الثاني بالعلاقات التركية / السوفيتية للمدة من 1923 إلى 1925 وتعد هذه المدة الزمنية غاية في الأهمية فعلى الرغم من نجاح تركيا في انتزاع اعتراف دول الوفاق الودي بها على أنها دولة قائمة بذاتها ومستقلة.
