يجد القارىء بين دفتي هذا الكتاب نصين (كتاب الأمكنة المغلطة وكتاب الجدل) نحققهما لأول مرة للفيلسوف والطبيب الأندلسي ابن طملوس (ت. 620ه / 1223م) وهما جزء من كتاب ضخم في المنطق (خزانة الأسكوريا) وموضوع النصين نظري وعلمي من جهة أنهما يفحصان صناعتي السفسطة والجدل والنصان في غاية الأهمية ويظهر ذلك مما يلي فهما يقدمان شهادة مادية على إستمرار العلوم العقلية في أرض الأندلس والمغرب بعد وفاة ابن رشد (595 هـ / 1198 م).
