جاء في كتاب معجم المصطلحات النفسية والتربوية لمؤلفه محمد مصطفى زيدان حيث شرح مختلف مصطلحات علم النفس التربوي، أي المصطلحات المستخدمة والمعتمدة في علم النفس وعلم التربية بثلاث لغات وهي الإنجليزية والعربية والفرنسية مع شرح مفصل لكل مصطلح باللغة العربية مع إعطاء الأمثلة لكل مصطلح كلما سمح بذلك ويتكون الكتاب من أربعة أقسام كما يلي : القسم الأول : شرح المصطلحات من الإنجليزية إلى العربية وفي القسم الثاني : شرح المصطلحات من اللغة الفرنسية إلى اللغة العربية وفي القسم الثالث : شرح مفصل وتوضيح الكثير من المصطلحات النفسية والتربوية وحاول شرح معنى المصطلح باللغة الإنجليزية مع شرح وتوضيح باللغة العربية، أما القسم الرابع فشرح فيه معنى المصطلحات باللغة العربية ومصطلحات علم النفس.
