يتناول كتاب الأسطورة اليونانية الذي ألفه فؤاد جرجي بربارة حيث أنه هو آخر سلسلة الإغريقيات إذ إنه يتناول الأساطير اليونانية التي وصلت إلينا عن طريق النصوص الإغريقية القديمة كملحمتي هوميروس (الإلياذة والأوذيسة) وقصائد هيزيود ولاسيما كتاب نشأة الآلهة والمسرحيات الإغريقية الكبرى وخطاب الأسطورة اليونانية هو خطاب يروم فهم العالم وتفسيره وللعنصر الديني في هذه الأسطورة حيز مهم من دون أن يرتكز دين الإغريق على اللاهوت وعلم الكلام والماورائيات أساسا لأنه استند إلى مقولتي المقدس والمدنس.
