ما يتناوله هذا الكتاب الذي يضم أعمال الندوة الثالثة \"بنيات النص ودلالات الخطاب\" فحصا وتحليلا ونقدا، هو الخطاب السياسي بنياته واشتغاله السيميائي ومفعوله الإيديولوجي. وهذا يعني أننا لم نبحث في هذا الموضوع بطريقة المختص في العلوم السياسية الذي يدرس النظريات السياسية، وآليات الحكم والمؤسسات التشريعية والتنفيذية، ومختلف الظواهر السياسية كالأحزاب والرأي العام، ولا بطريقة الفاعل السياسي الذي ديدنه الانتصار لهذا البرنامج أو ذاك، وشاغله تعبئة الأنصار والأتباع. بإيجاز إن موضوع الندوة هو الخطاب السياسي استراتيجياته وآلياته، لا الفعل السياسي المباشر. لقد اتسمت العروض المقدمة في الندوة بالتنوع والغنى، مستهدفة من وراء ذلك تحليل الخطاب السياسي استنادا إلى مقاربات متنوعة وتخصصات عديدة من جهة أولى، وفهم المجتمع المغربي وفحص تغيراته عبر أصعدة متعددة منها السياسية والاجتماعية والثقافية من جهة ثانية.
