Overview
يحتوي هذا الكتاب على مجموعة مختارة من النقوش التي رصدها ودرسها المؤلف خلال العشر سنوات الماضية واستفاد كثيرا من طرحها في المجلة العربية ومدارستها مع المهتمين، بالإضافة لذلك سيجد القاري نقوش جديدة لم تطرح في الموقع من قبل من ضمنها نقش مهم ومبكر مؤرخ بعام 43 هجري، ولعله يكون أقدم رابع (أو خامس) نقش مؤرخ داخل حدود المملكة العربية السعودية، وهكذا فقد قدم المؤلف في هذا الكتاب 137 نقشا مختارا من جبال حسمي تعرفنا من خلالها على رجال من الصحابة والتابعين عاشوا في صدر الإسلام، ذلك العصر الذهبي الذي انتشر فيه العلم والكتابة في أنحاء الدولة الأموية وازدهرت دروب المسافرين بين الحجاز والشام ومن ضمنها درب حسمى الذي حفظت لنا صخوره كنزا من المعلومات المهمة.
