الكتاب نهج قاصد وسبيل ذلول رسم فيه مؤلفه مكي بن أبي طالب القيسي (ت. 437 هـ)، أحد رواد المدرسة القيروانية بديار المغرب والأندلس-معالم رواية قالون للطالب الذي استوفى سميتها الورشية حفظا وأداء. وقد كانت رواية ورش لهذا العهد وإلى يوم الناس هذا هي متحفظ الطلبة في بداءة الطلب وزمن الحجر، لا ينتقلون عنها إلى غيرها حتى تقع لهم على جودة الإحسان وجادة الإتقان، وجرى العمل بعد تحقق هذا الشرط على أن تكون بمحل العطف عليها عديلتها-رواية قالون-إذ كانت تجري معها على مشترك الأخذ، وتلتئم معها في سياق التحمل وموصول الأداء عن نفس المشيخة المدنية.
