يتناول الكتاب \"أغاني نساء مراكش، اللعابات-الطقيطقات-الهواري-التهضيرة\" يتبين الدور الرئيس الذي تلعبه المرأة في حفظ التراث الشفهي الموسيقي المغربي، وفي تشكيل جوانب من الذاكرة الجماعية المغربية، موسومة بالطابع التراثي الأصيل، ولعل مما يؤكد هذه الفكرة ما توحي به دلالة العنوان من اقتصار أداء بعض الأنواع الموسيقية على أصوات النساء دون الرجال. والنتيجة وضوح دور المرأة المغربية بطبقاتها الصوتية المختلفة عن الرجل، وبأدوارها الاجتماعية الخاصة بها، وبأحاسيسها ومشاعرها الرقيقة. إضافة إلى مساهمتها الفعالة في بناء قوالب الفن الغنائي بصفة عامة رغم الطابع المحدود لثقافتها، وبساطة تكوينها.
