هذا الكتاب تناول من خلاله الباحث عبد الله كيكر بالدراسة والتحليل حقبة زمنية من تاريخ منطقة سوس محصورة ما بين 1757م الى 1790م أي فترة حكم المولى محمد بن عبد الله كسلطان بمقتضى بيعة شرعية وحدد المؤلف للفترة ثلاثة محاور تاريخية اشتغل عليها بالدراسة وهي الجانب السياسي والاقتصادي والاجتماعي مع التركيز على هذا الأخير وشكلت المحاور مثلث البحث للربط بين هذه بتلك وتأثير هذا على ذاك وتداعيات الكل على منطقة سوس عامة وليس مدينة اكادير فقط ما حدا بالمؤلف لجمع وتسطير تلك المحاور في عنوان بارز وبخط غليظ أسود على أبيض على دفة الكتاب.
