شاء الله تعالى للمغرب الأقصى أن يعتنق الإسلام ويحتضنه ويكون قلعة من قلاعه، منذ فجر تاريخه، وكتب له أن يكون مذهبه في الفروع هو مذهب إمام دار الهجرة الإمام مالك بن أنس الأصبحي رضي الله عنه، المتوفى سنة 179 هـ. وقد يتساءل الإنسان عن سبب ذلك وكيف كان ومن أين جاء وكيف استمر كذلك إلى زماننا هذا... الجواب عن ذلك يتضمنه هذا الكتاب المختصر الذي قصدت فيه إلى بيان الفكرة بأسلوب واضح وعبارة بينة.
