يطرح كتاب \"مسرح ما بعد الدراما أربع مقاربات\"لمجموعة مؤلفين، جملة آراء علمية منهجية، تحفر وتنبش في عمق ماهية وأساليب استقلال المسرح عن الدراما، وذلك عبر إسهامات ومقاربات لكل من : الباحثة الألمانية كريستل فيلر، العراقي محمد سيف، المغربيان حسن المنيعي وخالد أمين. وتوضح موضوعات الدراسة ضمنه، أن مصطلح \"مسرح ما بعد الحداثة\" نوع من المسرح، يتسم بتخلصه من المعايير الدرامية كشرط لوجود الحدث المسرحي، من دون التخلي عن المفاهيم المسرحية المتعلقة به والمناسبة له. يبين الكتاب، انه، وفي عام 1999م، نشر تيس ليمان دراسة \"مسرح ما بعد الدراما\"، وبذل فيها جهدا كبيرا لوضع تصور لمفهوم مسرح ما بعد الدراما، باعتباره ظاهرة، والسعي إلى الوقوف على نشأتها، سواء بشكل مباشر أو غير مباشر، عبر طرح مفهوم ومجال محددين لعنوان ما بعد الدراما.
