يتناول كتاب (السعادة والتطور) والذي قام بتأليفه (محسن علي الدلفي) في حوالي (563) صفحة من القطع المتوسط موضوع (علم النفس الاجتماعي) مستعرضا المحتويات التالية : يتألف الكتاب من الفصول التالية : بعد مقدمة شاملة وممتعة عن السعادة. يتحدث الفصل الأول : عن مفاهيم السعادة بدءا من نظرة فلاسفة الإغريق مرورا بمن تلاهم من مفكرين ومصلحين وفلاسفة، أما الفصل الثاني : فيتحدث عن دور الثقافة في هيمنت مشاعر الفرح والسعادة او العكس، والفصل الثالث : يتحدث عن قوانين وأصناف السعادة، الفصل الرابع : أما أسس السعاد فكانت موضوع، وفي الفصل الخامس : تحدث عن معالم الشخصية والسعادة، وفي الفصل السادس : يتحدث عن الحب والوعي والسعادة، وفي الفصل السابع : تحدث عن الطريق إلى النجاح والسعادة، وفي الفصل الثامن : تطرق الى دور العلاقات الإجتماعية في خلق الشعور بالسعادة وأخيرا يوضح دور الزهد في الشعور بالسعادة.وسنتاولها بدراسة مفصلة.
