يتحدث الكتاب عن \"الرحلة الحجازية\" يعد أدب الرحلة من أهم الألوان الأدبية التي تميز بها التراث الإسلامي ولذلك ما لبث ان صار مصدرا تاريخيا وجغرافيا مهما و من أشهر رحلات علماء المغرب المتأخرين الرحلة الحجازية للعلامة أبي عبد الله محمد بن احمد الحُضَيكِي. وهي رحلة جمع فيها صاحبها بين طلب العلم وأداء فريضة الحج، فرسم بذلك ملامح من حياته العلمية معرفا بشيوخه الذين مر على مجالسهم في طريقه الى الحجاز، و ما تلقاه عنهم من فوائد.
