الكتاب بعنوان (وترجل فارس الكلمة محمود درويش) والذي قام بتأليفه (مصطفى نمر دعمس) في حوالي 275 صفحة من القطع المتوسط يتناول التعريف بالشاعر محمود درويش ولادته ونشأته وحياته فهو شاعر فلسطيني له دواوين شعرية مليئة بالمضامين الحداثية ولد عام 1941 في قرية البروة كانت أسرته تملك أرضا هناك وخرجت الأسرة برفقة اللاجئين الفلسطينيين إلى لبنان، ثم عادت متسللة بعد توقيع اتفاقيات الهدنة لتجد القرية مهدمة وقد أقيم على أراضيها موشاف قرية زراعية إسرائيلية فعاش مع عائلته في القرية الجديدة بعد إنهائه تعليمه وعمله في صحافة.
