يتناول كتاب (مدخل البحث الميداني في التراث الشعبي : عرض-مصطلحات-توثيق-مقترحات-آفاق) والذي قام بتأليفه محمود مفلح البكر في حوالي (438) صفحة من القطع المتوسط موضوع (التراث الشعبي) مدخل إشكالية اللهجات وكتابة بعض الحروف وحلول مقترحة لكتابة اللهجات ونشأة علوم التراث الشعبي ودور الرحالة والمستشرقين في دراسة التراث الشعبي، وكان هذا الكتاب هو الأول من نوعه في سوريا ولا غنى للباحث في التراث الشعبي عنه.
