يتناول (ابن ماجد) والذي قام بتأليفه (علاء الدين عبد الفتاح دياب) في حوالي (27) صفحة من القطع المتوسط موضوع (تراجم الرحالة العرب) وفيه يتحدث الكتاب عن العالم الرحالة ابن ماجد الذي عرف بأسد البحر الهائج والمعلم والسائح ماجد كما لقب نفسه بشاعر القبلتين واشتهر لدى مؤرخي العلوم بأسم النجدي نسبة إلى منطقة نجد، ولد في جلفار-إمارة رأس الخيمة-على الساحل الجنوبي من الخليج العربي.
