يضم هذا الكتاب محاضرات في أصول الفقه أعدها الدكتور حمد الكبيسي لطلاب الفرقة الرابعة من طلاب قسم القانون بالجامعة المستنصرية، ولأصول الفقه دور كبير في تيسير السبيل أمام معرفة الأحكام الشرعية لكل ما يجرى بين الناس من علاقات، وما يصدر عنهم من تصرفات : إذ بدونه لا تعرف المصادر التي أخذت منها الأحكام، ولا تدرك المناهج التي سلكها أئمة الاجتهاد في أخذ هذه الأحكام من تلك المصادر، ولا تتبين الأسس التي ساروا عليها في تفسير النصوص وقواعده.
