في تقديمه للكتاب، بعنوان «تحليل النص الشعري وسؤال المنهج الشعري في الجامعة المغربية على هامش مناقشة الكتاب، قال المفكر البلاغي المختص في تحليل الخطاب، محمد العمري، إن التحليل الذي قام به الباحث «انتقل بالبلاغة من استخراج الصور الشعرية وتقريرها إلى البحث في امتداداتها وتفاعلاتها»، وأضاف العمري أن النص، الذي اختاره الباحث الحسين بنو هاشم، من النصوص المتعددة المداخل (موضوعاتي سيكولوجي «القيمة الوجدانية»، واستعاري كنائي «الصورة البيانية»، وإيقاعي توازني صوتي، وتناصي)، مشيرا إلى أن الباحث رجح القيمة الوجدانية «حركة النفس داخل النص» حين دخل من المدخل الموضوعاتي الوجداني باعتباره «القنطرة التي تربط بين كل المهيمنات السابقة.
