يرصد الأديب والباحث سلطان العميمي في كتابه (أحمد بو سنيدة .. حياته وشعره)، سيرة مبدع رائد تفرد بسمات خاصة، عارضا لمحطات وعطاء هذا الشاعر المجيد الذي يمثل إحدى القامات المهمة، والذي يحكى أنه أحرق قصائده قبل وفاته-كما ذكر المؤلف في مقدمة كتابه-، وما وصلنا من قصائده هو مما حفظه بعض الرواة، أو مما دون في المخطوطات، وقد انعكست مفردات البيئة الساحلية والحضرية التي عاش فيها بو سنيدة على قصائده وصوره الشعرية. يقسم العميمي كتابه إلى ثلاثة فصول، تناول الأول مراحل حياة بو سنيدة وسيرته، وعرج الفصل الثاني على تجربته الشعرية من خلال قراءات لقصائده الشعرية، أما الفصل الثالث فيوثق لقصائد الشاعر، إضافة إلى ملاحق ضمت نموذجا لخطه ومخطوطات قصائده، بجانب مقالة عنه للأديب والشاعر الراحل حمد خليفة بوشهاب.
