الجراثيم منتشرة بكثرة، وهي تحيط بنا أينما تواجدنا. ولمحاربتها نضطر إلى استعمال العديد من الأدوية ومستحضرات التنظيف والتعقيم التي قد تكون سامة وخطرة جداً إن أُسيء استعمالها أو وقعت بيد الأولاد وإذ إن تناول حبة دواء واحدة من وصفة طبية، أو شرب القليل من سائل التنظيف قد يؤدي إلى مشاكل صحية تكون عواقبها وخيمة ولذا، لا بد من معرفة مخاطر الفيروسات والبكتيريا والسموم المحيطة بنا، ولابد أيضا من توعية الأولاد إلى أخطارها وإرشادهم إلى السلوك المناسب الذي يجدر بهم القيام به إن تسمموا عن طريق الخطأ أو شاهدوا حالة تسمم.
