تحاول سلسلة \"أعلام من الإمارات\" إلقاء الضوء على الأعلام الذين أثروا الحياة في الإمارات بشكل عام والثقافة على وجه الخصوص. وهي سلسلة لا تقف عند منتصف الطريق بل تحاول أن تضم معظم الأعلام من السلف وما لحقهم من شخصيات مؤثرة حقا في الحياة وتركوا بصماتهم، وهم كثر، بينهم الشاعر والفكر والأديب، إضافة إلى رجال التنوير وحملة المشعل الحضاري الذين شكلوا بمجملهم ماضي الإمارات الحضاري، الوجه الآخر للدولة والذي يؤكد أنها ليست استثمارات مالية وحركة اقتصادية، وأسواق نفطية، ومراكز تسوق وشوارع حديثة، بقدر ما لها أوجه أخرى مكملة لتلك الوجوه التي عرفت بها.
