هذا ما يتناوله الكتاب الذى أصدرته دار «روافد» تحت عنوان «الجبتانا .. أسفار التكوين المصرية» لمانيتون السمنودى، ولد على الأرجح سنة 270 ق. م وحققه علي علي الألفي، ويتضمن 16 سفرا تناقلها المصريون القدماء لفترة طويلة، حتى وصلت إلى عصر الدولة البطلمية ليدونها الكاهن مانيتون في حكم بطليموس الثاني، وبحسب مانيتون فإنه كتب الجبتانا بتكليف من رب الأرباب «رع» بعد رؤية رآها وهو نائم شاهد فيها نفسه وقد صعد خلالها إلى السماء راكبا « جبار»
