في حكاية \"القمرة\" يسافر مجد برفقة صديقتيه الحمامتين المضيئة والبخارية إلى أرض مصر وهناك ينطلق الأصدقاء في رحلة عبر الزمن أكثر من ألف عام، حيث تصادفهم مفاجآت ويعيشون مغامرات رائعة يتعرف مجد خلالها إلى العالم العربي العبقري ابن الهيثم، الذي يحدثه عن علم الضوء وتطبيقاته، ويدعوه لرؤية اختراعه \"القمرة\"، الجدة الأولى للكاميرا الضوئية، لكن الغرطوس والغرطوسة كانا بالمرصاد، فقد نجح الطائران الشريران بسرقة كتاب المناظر وطارا مسرعين فوق مياه النيل العميقة من أجل إغراقه إلى الأبد ... ما الذي حدث بعد ذلك ؟ وهل نجح الماكران في ذلك ؟ هذا ما سيعرفه القارئ في نهاية حكاية \"القمرة\"
