يعنى هذا الكتاب بترجمة المصطلحات المتخصصة في مجال تكنولوجيا المعلومات باللغتين العربية والانكليزية. مرتبة بحسب التسلسل الهجائي للغة الانكليزية، وقد اشتملت على أكثر من (500) مصطلح، بطريقة هجائية متسلسلة، حسب ما ورد المصطلح باللغة الانكليزية. هذا ويشمل الكتاب على ترجمة تخصصات معاصرة مثل : 1- تكنولوجيا الحواسيب، بمكوناتها المادية وأجهزتها (hard ware) ومكوناتها البرمجية (soft ware) ونظمها المختلفة. 2- الاتصالات، وخاصة الاتصالات بعيدة المدى (telecommunication).3- الإنترنت وشبكات المعلومات (internetond networks). 4- البيانات والمعلومات من حيث خزنها واسترجاعها information storage والتعامل معها، ومعالجتها، وتناقلها. ولتسهيل مهمة القارئ عمد الكاتب إلى وضع كشاف متسلسل باللغة العربية لمصطلحات تكنولوجيا المعلومات تجدونه في نهاية الجغرافية المتباعدة لتسهيل تبادل المعلومات عبر الإنترنت بالشكل السريع والمطلوب لحاجات العصر.
