الفرائد من أقوال زايد هي موسوعة توثق مواقف الشيخ زايد بن سلطان آل نهيان، رحمه الله، وآراءه وأفكاره، وحكمته في جميع مجالات الحياة على المستويات المحلية والقومية والدولية، يتألف الكتاب من أربعة أجزاء : فالجزء الأول : من ثلاثة فصول تأتي بعد المقدمة والتمهيد. يتناول الفصل الأول : خطب الشيخ زايد بن سلطان آل نهيان -رحمه الله، ويضم الفصل الثاني : مقتطفات من كلماته، ويحتوي الفصل الثالث : الرسائل والبرقيات والبيانات، الجزء الثاني من الكتاب احتوى على فصلين : الأول في التصريحات عامة، والثاني في المؤتمرات الصحفية. والجزء الثالث اشتمل على أحاديث الشيخ زايد بن سلطان آل نهيان -طيب الله ثراه- لمندوبي وسائل الإعلام المحلية والعربية والعالمية. والجزء الرابع تابع أحاديث الشيخ زايد في لقاءاته وفود المواطنين والمسؤولين في الدولة، والوفود العربية والأجنبية.
