يتناول أهم المصطلحات المستعملة في حقول العمارة والبناء وفنونها، لبنة جديدة محمودة توفر للباحث الأستاذ أو الطالب وللمهتم الدارس للعمارة وفنون البناء مادة غنية، تيسر التقريب من المصطلحات المعمارية، وحتى التراثية، سواء كانت بالعربية أو الفرنسية أو الدارجة المغربية. إنه عمل جدي مشكور، أخد من الباحث الوقت الطويل، وكبده الصبر والعناء، سيما وأن مواضيع البناء والعمارة عولجت بالخصوص باللغات الأجنبية، مما جعل الباحث يضاعف مجهوده للتفريق بين ما يصادفه من كلمات متعددة ومتنوعة لاختيار المناسب منها. ولم يفته إضافة المعجم المغربي ليساعد أكثر على زيادة المفهوم. إننا أمام معجم يجمع ما يزيد عن ثمانية آلاف مصطلح (عربي / دارجي / فرنسي) مع مشتقاتها، وصل إليها الباحث مستعينا من جهة بتجربته الأولى عندما وضع معجمه الأول. إن هذا العمل إسهام جديد من شانه خدمة البحث العلمي، وهو إضافة للمكتبة المغربية، ومرجع ومنهل يهدف تيسير الولوج لكل من يريد التعمق في قضايا العمارة والبناء.
