تدور حداث الرواية عن رحلة. \"كنزي\"، بطلة هذه الرواية أحبت مرة وجرحها الحب لكننها قررت أن المرة الثانية لن تفشل كالمرة الأولى فخططت كل شيء لضمان هذا أولا أنهت دراستها الجامعية بتفوق ثم عملت في شركة كبيرة خطبت لزميلها الوسيم في العمل وحصلت على الخاتم الألماسي الكبير وأخيرا نجحت في إبهار الكثيرين وإثارة غيرة الكثيرات لكن المستقبل يهدد خطتها ويأتي وفي يده مشروع سينقذ كل شيء ولكن، لكي يتم إنقاذ كل شيء عليها أن توافق على شرط واحد أن تمثل مشاهد معينة من أفلامها الرومانسية المفضلة فتذهب في رحلة عبر ماضيها وعبر أفلامها المفضلة أيضا الأفلام التي تحبها \"كنزي\" ربما نكون قد شاهدناها من قبل وربما لم نحب بعضها ولكنها بالتأكيد ستجعلنا نرغب في العودة لرؤيتها مرة ثانية.
