يهدف هذا البحث بشكل رئيس إلى دراسة اللغوي وتحليله، المتمثل بخطب الإمام علي (ع) للوقوف على أهم العناصر التي بوساطتها يحصل التماسك النصي في هذا النوع من النصوص، ومن ثم الكشف عن أهم وسائل الترابط النصي التي حفظت لنصوص هذه الخطب تماسكها وترابطها، حتى بقي أثرها عند مستقبليها على الرغم من اختلافهم على مر الأزمان. وسنتناول في هذه الدراسة تحليل نموذجين من خطب الإمام (ع)، أحدهما في وصف الناس والثاني في وصف الخالق، وذلك عن طريق الوقوف على أهم عناصر السبك النحوي، وعناصر السبك المعجمي.
